How are the visuals created?
-
1. We brainstorm together and settle deadlines for the project
Once you send me the data, we discuss which visual solution would fit better for your story. You're free to suggest any solutions you might have in mind, or you can just leave that part to me - it's up to you! As soon as we agree on the visuals, we settle deadlines for the next steps.
-
2. I send you a draft/preview and wait for your approval
Time to make things happen! This first sketch can be a whole and unfinished B&W piece, or a partially colored preview (some people prefer that way so it's easier to visualize how the rest will turn out). This draft is sent to you so you can check if we're on the right track. Once it's approved, we finish the rest.

3. Bam! The project is finished and ready to be published
Taking in consideration your previous comments and observations, your visual story is finally finished! In this step, it is very common to have some smaller adjustments or edits. The moment these tiny tweaks are made, you're good to publish the piece the way you have previously intended.

4. What?! We can also add interactivity and/or animation?
Yes! Of course, you can create a wonderful static and classic visual story. But have you ever considered adding motion to your designs? What about allowing your audience to interact with the infographic? It may sound crazy, but it's entirely possible! Taking this extra step could make all the difference in your project.
